Le le But !

In the spirit of the hockey game last night (Habs won!) I decided to post this Montreal photo diary. Actually...I was going to post this today anyway but doesn't it work out well that the Canadiens won! I spent a day walking around Old Montreal and the Old Port. Such a beautiful area of the city. I went to a great little place for brunch called Le Cartet. I had the blueberry french bread which was so good I had to mention it here! One of the most classic scenes of Montreal (for me) are the horses patiently standing along the sidewalks in Old Montreal. It was nice to hear them walking by while I was sipping my cappuccino. My friend and I walked around Jeanne Mance Park my last evening. I think that is one of the most beautiful strolls I have ever taken in a park! The weather and scenery were perfect plus I had awesome company. Wishing you a tres bon weekend. Happy Friday!

Go Habs Go

Bonjour! It was a long weekend here in Canada and I spent it in Montreal. The weather was beautiful. There were clear blue skies, warm breezes and lots of sun. Perfect conditions for taking photos which I did all around the city. Montreal is a great place for restaurants, especially brunch! I went to see one of my good friends who introduced me to some local joints. It was great to see her and spend some time in a different city. Hope you enjoy this photo diary. I have some more pics which I will be posting.
Have a great day. Go Habs Go !!

Tassel Talk

Hello! Hope your week is going well. I bought this fun little shirt at a shop on Queen West here in Toronto called Zumel & Co. Its nice to support local shops every once in a while. I always walk by this shop so last weekend I decided to go in and see what they have in stock for spring. This shirt caught my eye right away. It will be great for the summer. The sales associate noted that it would look good over a dress and thats what I decided to pair it with! My first item of clothing with tassels, fun! Looking forward to sporting this all summer long. This dress is also a recent purchase. French Connection had 40% off everything this past weekend which is dangerous. I decided on this little navy number. The boho-esque outfit is great for dancing around a field and picking flowers.
I am off to Montreal tomorrow! Looking forward to some sight seeing, maple syrup and relaxing.
Wishing all you Canadians a happy long weekend. Lets hope the sun graces us with its presence.
Have a great day!

Where the Grass is Greener

Hello! Hope you had a nice weekend. I spent Sunday afternoon at my parents' for Mother's Day. As you can see from this photo diary it was a lovely day. Probably the nicest day we have had so far this year. The sun was shining, clear blue skies, green grass and flowers in bloom. I got to see my sister's new Burberry glasses. As a Burberry fan I was excited to see them. We celebrated Mother's Day with cake and one of my all-time favourite foods, my mom's homemade lasagna. Hope you got to enjoy the sun yesterday. Have a great Monday!
