Daily Dutch Reads

I leave for Amsterdam this weekend! So in honour of my Dutch travels I thought I would do a post on Dutch bloggers that I read regularly. These stylish ladies are a few of my favourite bloggers. They are great for fashion and photography inspiration.
They all bring their own unique look to the fashion blog scene.
If all the ladies in Amsterdam are as stylish as these fashionable ladies,
I might just spend my whole trip sitting at a cafe and people watching.

Prints Charming

Hello! Hope you had a good weekend. I had some all-you-can-eat sushi Saturday night and went out for brunch on Sunday. The weather was very nice, that perfect September warm breeze and golden sun. It is fun to wear boots again!

This fun and stylish dress is from the clothing line eShakti. They offer a wide range of dresses, tops and bottoms designed for all shapes and sizes. They offer clothing for women sizes 0 to 36 which is a nice guarantee that they will have your size! You can also choose the sleeve type and length of your top or dress. There are also certain garments that allow you to choose the neck line. I had a lot of fun deciding on the sleeve type and length of my dress. It was actually shown as a top but I wanted it longer so I could wear it with tights and leggings. I really like how that turned out.

Love the print of this dress. The print and colour combination caught my eye right away. The fit is great, something I can wear to work or dress up for a night out. I love it with the tights and boots. Great transitional piece for fall.
Will be great paired with a cardigan or blazer come October.

Dress to Impress

I think that dresses are the most fun to browse online. It's so easy to click through different styles, colours, lengths and, if you really like something, clicking on the zoom and getting a full preview. I was introduced to a website that specializes in dresses for different occasions, the online store Aviva Dress. They are a family owned and operated clothing line that design dresses for special occasions. They have a wide range of prom dresses, wedding dresses, evening and cocktail dresses. The cuts and details are feminine, elegant and also sexy! There is a very large selection but you are able to minimize your search by price, fabric, colour among other details. Personally I like to look at everything because you never know what you may find.

Lots of fun to look through all the beautiful dresses for every occasion.
A girl can never have too many dresses in her closet, right?
Here are a number of my personal favourites from Aviva.
Aviva have a large selection of beautiful wedding dresses.
This is perhaps my favourite dress from Aviva.
Love the colour and chiffon detailing.
Perfect for a holiday party...never too early to start thinking about the festive season!

Milkin' It

Hello! Hope your week is going well. I had a few days off and spent them with family celebrating my birthday and my sister's birthday. My sister and I went out Saturday night and saw Kaskade.
He puts on a great live show with lots of energy and enthusiasm, recommended!

On Tuesday I tagged along with my parents to Canada's Outdoor Farm Show held annually in Woodstock, Ontario. It's huge with about 40, 000 visitors showcasing the latest in farm machinery and technology. It was fun to be able to sit in the tractors. A highlight for me was sitting in the combine, crazy! Great to see a show devoted to the Canadian farming industry.

Hope you have a good day, happy Thursday!
Don't hate me because I'm adorable
Time to sit back and relax after a long day.

Maxed Out

This will be my last summer outfit post. Might as well end with a classic summer dress that I have had for a few years. The print, colours and style scream summer. I have mentioned before that I love maxi dresses. This is the one thing I will really miss about the summer - a flowy light maxi dress. I am putting this bad boy away for next year.

I had Tuesday off so it's back to work for me. Three day week is not so bad, not so bad at all. Hope your week is going well. Happy Humpday!

Bittersweet Symphony

My sister and I were talking over the weekend about how Labour Day weekend is bittersweet. It's nice to have a three day weekend but it signals the end of summer, and for many, the start of school. I always feel like September is a fresh beginning. There is still a third of the year to get some new year resolutions done. The fresh beginning feeling probably goes back to the many....many years I was in school. Good luck to those going back to the books!

I had a great summer, one of the best in years. It started with a trip to Montreal over Victoria Day weekend back in May and it has been non-stop fun since. I thought I would share the last of my summer photos with you this week.
Hope you had a nice long weekend. Happy Tuesday!
Thanks for reading!
